Terms of service
Takuma US Shop is located on Main Street in Speedway, IN just three blocks from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, we do not accept any walk in orders. This is an ecommerce business handling thousands of orders per day.
Takuma US Shop was created to help get Takuma Sato products to customers in the US. Any special requests for international shipments need to be handled through our customer service email address at usshopinfo@takumasato.com. We do not currently offer any phone support in an effort to reduce our overall operating cost.
Cancellation Policy:
Please check your desired items and personal information before submitting the order. Our goal is to ship items as soon as we get orders. It is impossible with the volume of orders to pull an order back once the order is in process. For that reason, once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or changed in any way. If an error is made, you need to accept the shipment and request a return authorization to send the order back for a refund.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments:
Orders refused at delivery will be charged all applicable fees (return shipping, our shipping cost, and a 25% restocking fee). Those same fees apply to any shipment that is undeliverable due to incorrect address or failure to pickup from carrier’s location within required timeframe.
Return Policy:
You can request an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) for any order up to 30 days of the delivery date. Most requests are approved if they meet the time frame requirements and are unused/unopened in their original packaging.
We do not issue prepaid return labels.
Customers will be responsible for return shipping cost, unless the item is damaged, defective, or the incorrect item (see below). We will not reimburse any return shipping charges. There will be a restocking fee of up to 25% on all products that are being returned in original packaging (unused/unopened). Any item that is being returned that is not in original packaging, is opened or is used will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Takuma US Shop is not responsible for any product lost or damaged during return transit. Please make sure that your return shipment is insured (if necessary) and can be tracked with a tracking number.
Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receipt.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item:
Upon receipt, please immediately examine the box and all contents for any sign of damage or defective products. We need to be notified within 14 days of the delivery date. If you do not contact us within that time, we may not be able to refund you.
Information about the product received and photos are likely required.
Non-Receipt:
If your order shows delivered and you have not received it, we must be notified within 7 days of that stated delivery date in order to file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. If you do not contact us within that time, we may not be able to refund you.
Warranty:
There are no express warranties on any of the products sold by Takuma US Shop.
Pricing or Inventory Errors:
In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel any orders which were placed at the incorrect price.
While we update our inventory multiple times a day, there are times that the system is not able to keep up with the rate of sale on certain items. In the rare event that an item is oversold, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Team in regards to your order.

We primarily ship using UPS Ground. In an effort to minimize our shipping costs, we also use UPS SurePost for smaller items. This means it will initially be handled by UPS, but delivered by your local post office.
Please be sure to provide your physical address on the address line. We do not accept PO Box for any deliveries. Following these guidelines will ultimately prevent delivery issues.
We do not currently offer expedited shipping.
International Orders:
We will do our best to accomodate International Orders. There will be a charge for all estimated shipping costs, duty and taxes on each order. There will also be a $15 handling fee to help cover the manual handling of these orders.
